That's why Reggae Inspirations!
1987 I got my first Reggae Tape from a DJ.
At this time I know nothing about Reggae, speaking no English language but I translated the Bob Marley Lyrics to understand more!
There was words which was not to translate, words like Babylon, Blackstar Liner, persons where mention in Songs ect. and so it comes that me started to read, the Bibel from top to bottom, the Quran from top to bottom, about Marcus Garvey and the African History and traditions.
Me felt how it changed my view of the world and started to paint!
1990 I took my tent , my pencils and paper and went to Kingston Jamaica to see where Reggae come from.
At this time I don't know anybody in Jamaica and it was a fantastic experience to sleep 3 weeks inna Tent in Jackshill!
From there my love to Reggae Music and the Roots of it became a part of my life, I became a deep Reggae ( Truth ) Lover, my life changed!
Here I can say, if you start to know the truth, how the System of the world is working, you have two ways, take it or leave it!
No, I can't refuse the Message of Reggae!!!
Reggae gave my life so much more than any school could give me!
It's not just Music for highlife and sunshine, it's a life, my life!
